Hello.
My dad had some DVD's created by a DVD Recorder.
When I play the DVD with Media Player I can see 9 Chapters in the Main Menu.

Yet when I use HandBrake it recognizes only 2 of them.
Is there any tool to strip or edit those VOB / TS folder with more aggressive tool to get those "Hidden" chapters.

I guess the DVD Recorder doesn't produce standard video, Yet VLC player does play those VOB and all the chapters (Cells By DG Index) and so Windows Media Player.

Any help would be appericiated.

P.S.
Is there a way to make Virtual DUB Open VOB files or strip them into regular MPEG2 without rencoding?

This sounds like the other thread you started at:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=155523

Is this about the same discs?

No, This thread is about the discs which were finalized when recorded and have no copy problems.

Will VLC not do it?
File menu - Convert/Save
I'm sure if it will read the vobs it will dump the raw A/V data to an mpeg PS file.

Will it combine them all without "Transcoding"?

Yes. In the transcoding dialogue there is a "Create new profile" button.
Make a profile called, for example, vob2mpeg.
Use MPEG-PS encapsulation and set video and audio to "Keep original (video/audio) track"
Select this profile and click to convert. It should dump to an mpeg file. It works from a DVD-R backup of a movie I happened to have handy, so I haven't tested this against CSS etc and have only tested standard DVD-Video, not the type you have.

Try it and see, though. The worst that can happen is it'll fail :)
