MeGUI's AVS Script creator analysis of footage from same shooting session would return varying results or fail altogether.
I wonder if any of you guys would suggest settings for reversing telecine on them soft interlaced .MTS files shot with the 24p "Cine Mode" setting.
Or maybe there's technique for figuring out the pull-down pattern manually?
I'd gladly upload a brief sample if anyone would be willing to play around with it.
Thanks a bunch.

It's just a 7 sec 22MB clip of a hanger moving up and down. Nothing pretty (sorry:p). You'll let me know if it's not adequate.
Thank you again.
PS. Don't know how long it'll stay there. I've never used any of them free file hosting service before.
!UPDATE! If it helps any, Adobe After Effects' Guess 3:2 Pulldown feature (in the Interpret Footage dialog) returned WSSWW, and it looks absolutely correct. But how does it translate to AVISynth?
!UPDATE!
Discard the previous update. I'm having limited success with it.

It's simple hard 3:2 pulldown. Use any decent IVTC, such as:
telecide()
decimate()

You're the man!
More specifically...
DirectShowSource("hanger.mts", fps=29.970, audio=false, convertfps=true)
AssumeTFF()
Telecide(guide=0, post=2, vthresh=30)
Decimate()
Hooray!
:thanks:
