Gah! Typo in title: 730i.

Am I missing something obvious?

I am running with the default vsync settings, the default renderer with custom presenter. Basically the vanilla out of the box settings.

My box is a QX6700 on an EVGA 730i board /w integrated 9300 going to a Panasonic commercial plasma at 59.94 Hz.

Or does this integrated GPU just not cut it for MPC-HC? MC7 does not tear, but I think MPC-HC looks better and if it weren't for the tearing I'd be using it.

By adjusting the vsync offset you should be able to manipulate the position of the tear. The goal is to move it all the way to the bottom of the screen where you can't see it.

Otherwise try one of the other renderers.

ianken: What version of Windows? Aero on or off?
Could also try enable alt vsync in mpc-hc.

Aero off. Win7.

I tried a more recent build and so far things are great. Normal sync settings, full screen and no tearing at 24,50 or 60 Hz.
