View Full Version : Working Frameserver for Vegas / Premiere ?

Hi there, in the past I used a lot Framserver (http://www.debugmode.com/frameserver/) to export a movie and then encode it. It saves lot of space and time, you don't have to export a huge uncompressed file. As of 2010 Framserver is no longer working well with recent versions and OS of Vegas / Premiere, the author seems busy to update the software. It's very annoying because I know lot of people use this plugin, my question is : 'Is there any alternative ' ?
Thanks,

When i recently tested some GPU stuff (which unfortunately despite the advertising of Sony isn't working @ all (Encoding)) i used the very nice Avisynth Frameserver http://www.turtlewar.org/avfs/ it works nicely though it's slower obviously then direct input (also depends on the complexity of the input) but it works fine :)

@cruncher - I think he's looking for export frameserver, not input frameserver

There is no frameserver to recommend...
GPU stuff (which unfortunately despite the advertising of Sony isn't working @ all (Encoding))It is working sometimes actually (CPU->GPU gives +20% speed in my test), even though it's slower than previous version even in GPU mode.
