Hi, I'm trying to sync subtitles taken from a PAL DVD (25fps) in .idx+.sub format with a 23.976fps video/audio source (fps were taken with mediainfo).
In mkvmerge I've tried to insert 25000/23976 in the field "stretch by", but the sync still went out progressively (near the end the subs preceeds the audio by a few seconds).
What should I do?
Thanks in advance!

Where does the video and audio come from?

The video/audio comes from my BD of the movie Predator, the subs comes from my DVD.
Since the commentary track on the BD hasn't text subs, and the DVD has, I was thinking to join the best of both worlds for my backup.
Superb

Thanks in advance!Try using BDSup2Sub (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=145277) to sync the subs.
