I've been editing some tags on my MP4s using MetaX. I loaded the files in MP3Tag and found that MetaX was using iTunes style tags, which was why WMP12 wasn't displaying Director, Producer information from the previously embedded info.
I've reentered the data into the files through WMP and Windows explorer but I am unsure whether or not the tags are being stored in the file or in an external database.
Does anyone know what WMP/Windows Explorer does with this info?
