XMpeg 4.2a - Problem with compiling time

Hi,

when i encode with XMpeg 4.2a, DivX 4.12 and 2 passes,
the final movie does not have the desired lenght (there are
always one or two minutes missed at the end of the movie).

But when i enter the compiling time in frames (with the
same time in sec. x fps) all is perfect. So what is the problem?

Only enter compiling time in seconds. Take the value which is show upon loading the .vob files and convert this to seconds.

you can't go wrong. I've encoded probably 90 vids and i get the perfect time. you can check by opening up some app that displays file time like Windows Media Player. It will, and should have the same time that Xmpeg shows at the .vob load screen.
