Captcha problems

Am I alone in having difficulty with the ones on this board? I was trying to find something, did half a dozen searches.

Two searches I entered the captcha correctly.

Three searches I had to enter it twice because the first one must not have matched even though it looked to me like it should have.

One search, I had to enter 3 times.

Yes, because there aren't any.

Yes there are. But they only appear if you are not logged in.

As a result I haven't tried them for years and cannot verify whether they work or not. However the workaround is simple enough - log in to do your searches.
