ATI Drag and Drop Encoding

Has anyone started a open source project to tap into this?... if a pseudo device could be developed along the line of ISO image drives (alcohol etc) with the option to have full control over the output ... so before installation there would be a set of options to create a pseudo device in Explorer to match your output needs.

That encoder is hideous. Continue using x264. ;)

But your idea is nice for creating an Explorer integration tool where you drop your AVS files and they are automatically converted. I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be easy to make, if you are willing to learn a little Windows API. ;)
