Any batch video converters?

Does anyone know a program that can do batch converting? like I select a directory and settings and it'll do for all the videos. I already tried minicoder but it lacks of giving me more control of the settings

What's your source format and your target format?

Edit: And what sort of filtering, if any, do you need to do?

Source format is mkv and target format is mp4 with hardsubbed. The only filter I need is resize and want to use a 1pass quantizer
