Hi everyone very very new to all of this I was very curious to try encoding to 300 mb videos followed a tutorial as all the tutorials I looked at were exactly the same. Video is 35 minutes long and it came out 998 mb. I set it to 300 mb and it reached 298mb output including audio in nitrate calculator. I pressed save and changed it again in auto encode. Any ideas! Thanks

I assume you're using MeGUI? Post (1) your Avisynth script, (2) the full MeGUI log, and (3) the command line MeGUI passes to XviD or x264, viewable in the lower part of the "Config" pane for the relevant encoder. It would be most helpful if you could paste each into its own codebox, using the CODE command accessible through the "Advanced" posting mode here.
