Hi all.

win7 64 and a decent encoder for Divx 6 encodeing
After having some problems with my hauppauge HVR 2200 (same card as 2250 but PAL) and re-imaging my system to an image from November last (2009) year to attempt to overcome the problems Dr Divx broke... and after trying all the usual I cannot bring the doctor back.
I convert the .TS files to MPG by de-Muxing with Projextx then Re-muxing with Imogox's MPEG Multiplexor.
AVI.net works with tweaks except for when the screen size option is pressed and it crashes, and 640 X 480 is not what I want.

Is there version of Guardian Knot that works with MPG? and can convert by using the Divx Pro settings window?

Or can someone please point me towards a decent encoder... all the freeware and trial programs I've tried so far have problems.
Including those listed for download on doom9.
I want to encode to 720 height, quality setting of "4"

Gordian Knot seems to be written for VOB's .. is there a tutorial for using a version for MPG files such as what I have?

Help appreciated.

No .. I have just downloaded an earlier version of Dr Divx that works, it sadly does not support anamorphic encoding but it does have a lot of control and does not crash on me,

thanks for your help .. I will investigate your suggestion, I do use Virtualdub to repair AVI's
