So I have been searching this forum for help on converting a VC-1 file to x264 , mkv.
What I would like to accomplish is: Convert video to x264, around 10GB and mux it with trueHD dts sound, about 11gb which I have succesfully demuxed using tssplitter.
I have tried all mpeg avc encoder guis. They all return pid errors.
So I dug a little deeper and now get he idea that it's because dgindex cant handle vc-1 ? Only dgindex (nv) and I don't use nvidia cards. Found a few thread where people tried a whole forest of appz trying to accomplish the same, without luck
So am I right in understanding that this can't be accomplished without a nvidia card + dgindex (nv)
