Hi,

can anyone please give me a hint how to easily cut and save parts from an h264 transport strem?

I have recorded a show on "Das Erste HD" (Satellite Astra 19.2), and want to cut that file. I have tried H264TS-Cutter, but it keeps crashing with a DOT-NEt exception everytime i try to cut a part from my (very large, around 50 Gigabyte) videofile :(

Is there a better yet simple solution?

you can try tssniper

or even tsmuxer (and cut without preview window, but by timecodes)

Thanks alot, can you shortly explain how to use Tssplitter? I am simply too dumb, I use the ] and [ Buttons to select a range, and Press on the "-" Button on the right side of the screen, but nothing happpens.

How exactly do you select the parts you want to delete?

Okay, finally got TSSnipper to work, but it compeltely destroys my video, now I have dropouts every 40 seconds in the resulting video, how is that possible? I thought it does not touch the source video at all :(

You could index it with DG Indexer, or ProjectX, and then cut it with AVS Cutter.

Ts Doctor seems to work great for me ( works with E-AC3 among other things)

Smart-Cutter (FAME) apparently keeps the subtitles too - info taken from the German Doom9 board.
