DVD Sound

Not sure if I'm in the right section of the forum but here goes :-
I use dvd decrypter to extract the files from a dvd, then I use dvd shrink to author them and then dvd decrypter to burn them, trouble is the sound on the new burnt dvd is lower than the original whats going on and how do I correct it.

Neither of the programs you mentioned do anything to alter the audio in any way...

Well if I take the original dvd and play it, it sounds ok, I then play the burnt dvd at the same sound settings and I have to turn up the sound to hear it so something is happening but what

The copy may be defaulting to a different audio track than the original.
