I have used HDPack to install Cyberlink Video Decoder but I learned that Arcsoft is the best so I tried Arcsoft video decoder. The HDPack contains the 30 day trial. I use MPC-HC and XBMC DSplayer build for playback. Both use Arcsoft video decoder trial.

I reaaally liked it so now I have the full version of Arcsoft TMT!
But I don't know exactly how to install it in a way that only those files necessary for the Arcsoft video decoder are installed. Just like HDPack does with the trial version.

Does anyone knows how to do this?
The HDPack installs everything in Program files\Common files\ and an uninstaller in system32\codec (wich is weird!).
The official TMT installs in Program Files\.
Also, the HDPack installs Arcsoft files that I cannot find in the official Arcsoft installer! So it's pretty confusing...

HDPack comes with it's own installers for both Cyberlink decoders and the Arcsoft decoders. So if you've already have PowerDVD or an Arcsoft player on your system the second installers from HDPack will cause a real mess. If you want to use HDpack remove(uninstall) PowerDVD and Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre (or Total Media Extreme).

I have no intention of installing both. HDPack only contains the 30-day trial version of Arcsoft video decoder.
I want to install the non-trial version of the Arcsoft decoder. I have already completely removed and deleted HD Pack.

I have a full copy of Arcsoft TMT, now I want to install the video decoder only, not the entire package wich eats 120 MB of space.
I want to install the full version video decoder, the same way HDPack installs the demo decoder.

1.I can see the 30days trial for Arcsoft decoders in HDPack 2.4 ,but i 'm using HDpack 2.3 (wich has the same Arcsoft decoder) on my son's XP based system and there are no such restriction there for the Arcsoft decoders. I mean I still can load it as an external filter in MPC_HC ,even it was about 6 months ago when i installed HDPAck 2.3 on that system.
Try to use HDPack 2.3 or even 2.2 because Arcsoft didn't upgrade their products with brand new decoders for about an year.
2.On Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 3 and Cyberlink PowerDVD 9 or 10 you can not use the specific decoders out of the box(added as external filters in players like MPC_HC or KMPlayer)
Some ppl claimed to succeed in loading decoders from certain builds of PowerDVD 9 but I can't confirm that.
