Help Removing 4:3 IFO for SpruceUP

"SpruceUp doesn't directly support 16:9. It will import it, but then flag it as 4:3 in the IFO it creates during authoring. You can use IFOEdit to change it back before burning"

How do you remove the part of the IFO for SpruceUp to burn 16:9 M2V's without losing aspect ratio??

Are you going to burn m2v files?

Or rather vob files?

Cause, what for would you need an IFO file, if you are burning m2v files ?

1. Pull the video (and audio) into SPRUCEUP) as always. It will appear "stretched" in the preview mode while you're authoring - ignore it.

2. Create the Title Set on your hard drive using SPRUCEUP.

3. Use one of the latest versions of IfoEdit on the individual VTS file for the individual title set (e.g. VTS_01_0.IFO)

4. Click on VTSI_MAT on the top half of the screen.

5. Double click on VTSTT_VOBS (offset 00000200) on the bottom half of the screen.

6. A dialog box with show up. Change the aspect ration to 16:9 and check automatic letterboxing.

7. Save your changes to both the IFO and BUP (you will be asked).

8. Go back into SpruceUp (or other other buring package) and delect to burn from the titleset.

9. Any menus you may have authored will show as 4:3 -- but you can use a similar method to change those if you're so inclined... I personally only care about the content of the movie.
