I'm trying to bitstream the DTS core of a DTS-MA file through S/PDIF in ffdshow and all the settings and output seems right its just that I don't get any audio through my receiver. I have libavcodec checked for truehd and libdts checked for dts. I have DTS checked for bitstreaming. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Make your you have the your digitial audio out set in windows as the default audio device.

I've seen the same thing... ffdshow not pulling the dts core using a geforce hdmi or spdif.

Looks like it may be a parsing bug in ffdshow. I'm planning on grabbing a debug log so will post over at the ffdshow thread.

Cheers

[EDIT:] Actually, i'll create a proper ticket via sourceforge!

I think I'll side with the parsing bug because it's obviously something that I can't figure out automatically. All the settings look right but it's just not working. btw do you think a debug log would be of some help in my case?

Never mind. I figured it out. Like Razoola said all I had to do was change the output from the Directshow one to the one going directly to the soundcard.
