The movie had a mastering error which caused the sound to be out of sync. Consequently, it's being pulled from the shelves and replaced with a not-broken disc.

Copies of Saving Private Ryan on Blu-ray without the fault are expected to be available by 18 May.
The problem has been blamed on Technicolour, the company which transfers films into the latest Blu-ray format.
