Hello good people, I was just wondering if any of you have this Sony n460 bd player and are you successful with full backup to BD5/9 with no problem, I would like to know before I put a purchase on this player. Also it could stream from netflix witch is a plus...mucho thanks. r124

You could take a disc to an electronics store to verify it will play. All you really need is to be able to power it up and be able to hit the play button. You can see if the counter is running. That player looks promising, but only if it works for our needs. :)

I tried it at Best buy: Sony BD 570, Sony BD 470, and LGBD570 and I couldn't get my hands on the Sony BD n460 to test, and none work to play full movie backups BD5/9. It looks like Im going to scratch the idea of stream netflix wireless plus play theses fullbackups..the only way is to try Jdobbs and capsbackup sony BD360 for fully backup on BD5/9.

It looks like Im going to scratch the idea of stream netflix wireless plus play theses fullbackups..the only way is to try Jdobbs and capsbackup sony BD360 for fully backup on BD5/9. I went through the same thing. I really wanted to get Netflix through my BD player, but it seems that all the ones that support it, don't work with full BD-5/9 backups. I ended up just getting the free Netflix software for my Wii...
