afaik it's not possible to merge files with different framerates.
why don't you adjust the framerate?

you can create a list file to play them back to back. Besides that, there is nothing you can do to join them. avi does not support asyncronosity in a video stream, and I can't think of another format that does.

framerate isnt really different!
i mean, it is always 24 fps, just, for some reason, the second file came a little "out of range"...
in fact is possible to merge this "almost equal" fps with others tools, es:ProjectDivX
since in many merge programs fps like 24.00672 are rounded to 24
not in vdub that is very sensitive to this
but changing the 2nd fps in vdub to 24, wont give really any problems
if that cant be done(happens ,specially with shorth chunks, that you save at xx, and again obtain xx,000yy),
change both fps to 20(or 10 or 40), merge them,
then reload the merged movie, and change back fps to 24
(ps.if u need help with audio syncro, ask me)
