please guide me to create dual audio movies
i use megui to encode video to h264 [profile --- h264:HQ-slowest ....if any other better profile available plzz mention]
now i have
encoded video file + english audio (equal to movie length) + Hindi audio (normally 10-12 min less than english audio length)
how do i mux them ... i have used mkvmerge to create movies in hindi only while reducing the length of the video by increasing the FPS
please guide me as i am a noob on this

Why is the Hindi audio shorter? If you were to play it side by side with the movie, would they be in sync?
mkvmerge is fully capable of muxing multiple audio tracks into a single container. Just when you add them, be sure not to append, but to just add the next one.

the hindi audio are short in length and they finish up 7-8 min before assuming a movie of 2hrs.

Are both audio tracks synced with the video (at least reasonably well, as one must be a dub) in the original DVD or Blu-ray?
Seems to me like a 10-12 minute length reduction would roughly correspond to the Hindi audio being muted during the end credits.

english audio is totally syn but dub audio have progressive delay
if i increase the FPS then it it syn's but now english audio is out of syn

You have to change FPS - not that of the video stream, but rather the one of shorter hindi audio stream here. It was probably dubbed to video with different (faster) FPS rate so you have to slow it down for your video.
Look for eac3to -slowdown option.

normal fps of hollywood movies is 23.976 but those movies dubbed in hindi have fps =25
so the difference
^ i tried audecity to increase the length but voice became different which is what i dont want
any other method

If both the English audio and Hindi audio are on the disc, and both are in sync there for the duration of the movie, then both have already been sped up to 25fps (or were native PAL). If one or the other is not in sync, then it has not been sped up. If you're using AssumeFPS or similar to reverse Film->PAL speedup, then you'll also need to use eac3to to slow down any audio that's in sync with the original movie. If one audio track falls behind the movie, and you think it's already at film speed, then you don't need to do anything.

It is what you want since the PAL version of the audio is speeded up and higher pitched than it should be.

You can increase the speed of the audio without affecting the pitch.

What does http://forum.doom9.org/search.php this show? Look on older posts, as this issue was "solved" long time ago... I think I did that in the early 1994 for the first time ...
Or maybe google has an answer?

ok .... i got the solution somewhere else [dont ask me where as i am active at many forums]
here is the summery [i will give the only best working solution ... no need to talk abt difficult and confusing solutions]
used the mask of zorro for testing
HQ in BRrip [2.5GB+]
LQ in dvdrip [700MB]
extracted both the audios using super video converter [freeware]
opened both the tracks in audecity [file/export/audio]
now the hindi track was 10 min less in length to the english track
copied first 20 sec starting from english track and added in hindi track so the starting is equal
TIP:- use avidemux to look at the exact time of the track
in hindi track selected whole track except the newly added 20 sec clip in the beginning
now chk in avidemux the exact length of the movies (ending point of hindi movie)[both eng, hindi]
and mark the time where u see exactly same video frames
now calculate HQ length and in audecith select the length of LQ which is to be stretched to HQ length
use effect/change tempo just type the length of the HQ mpvie so that u stretched hindi audio to the length of eng audio
now select english ending audio and paste it in hindi track
file export
ur r done
ALTERNATE
open both the track and see the wave forms and select the portion [u will see a diff. in the wave form] change tempo
now compare both tracks and if u see identical waves then have just done perfect job
export it and mux it to get mkv or any other format
i use mkvmerge and avimux
u can use super video converter as well
thats it
some movie may not sync properly then u have to select small sections and stretch them accordingly
as is the case with saving private ryan movie which i am currently working on
starting and end points are correct but in between its out of sync
now taking small sections and marking waves to match them
HOPE it HELPS
