Hello.
I have a doubt about that option present in MeGUI as well as many other eac3to GUIs. Let's say I have a m2ts with a DTS-HD audio track in, and I proceed with the following steps:
I extract it as *.dts, and once demuxed, change its extension to *.dtshd
I extract it as *.dtshd
In both cases I get a file with the same size. Wasn't it supposed to demux only the DTS core if you select DTS in a DTS-HD track, and therefore, the size would be lower compared to the lossless track? Does the DTS option add a different header to the file than if selecting DTSHD instead?
