View Full Version : Are there any BD transcoders which do not require ffdshow

My other question would be: How come they require ffdshow which covers many formats, and not just a few select codecs?

Can't help thinking about XviD. DivX or even Matroska, which have their own codecs, and which are used when transcoding DVD to AVI/XviD etc.

TIA

You can transcode Blu-ray using any of the DG* tools. ffmpegsource, or DirectShowSource with another decoder. You just can't do it in BD Rebuilder because jdobbs has focused on limiting the potential for user screw-ups.
