With all of the different versions of Avisynth floating around out there, I thought it would be interesting to see which version people prefer. For simplicity, I decided to limit the versions to 2.5.7+; however, if you use an older version please explain why.
To get things started, I prefer to use SEt's 2.6.0. It runs all of my scripts just fine (with and without MT). I'm curious about the X86_64, but skeptical, due to its newness.

I use official 2.5.8.5
Runs always fine.
Actually, no need of more.
Well, I'm a little reticent to use alpha builds so when 2.6 will be beta4, I will try it, promised.

2.6 Unofficial, probably the latest revision.
Can't live without new features anymore.

If its 2.6 from set, its includes the MT stuff while the official 2.6 alpha doesn't include MT. 2.6, I believe, also includes more resizing options.

Hi,
2.60 MT (SET)
Was a little quicker than 2.58MT with my older 2cores.
Some unexpected ends/exit from time to time for previewing (MPC) or 10% tests encodes (1 for 20 or so).
Hoping MT will be integrated in the official 2.6 soon !

Been using 2.5.8 MT (SEt's build) for a while now. Maybe I should try 2.6.0 sometime.
