How to strip / blank one m2ts file with short commercial?

Hello,

I have done full disk BD25 encode with BD Rebuilder and it turned out few Mbs oversized. Now I want to "strip" / "blank" one m2ts file with THX commercial to fit it on blank BD25. How can I do this?

Is it possible to just remux and cut it to 1 second length with tsMuxer and then replace original file?

MultiAVCHD can do this for sure. BD Rebuilder may be able to do it, particularly with some before or after assistance from BDEdit (e.g., kill playback and don't reference any assets in that title).

It seems that MultiAVCHD can't correctly parse this BD disk in "re-author mode" as it estimates ~50Gb output size (twice the original) and the main movie is listed twice too. Or is it expected behaviour and I should proceed regardless?

And can you please elaborate more on BD Rebuilder / BDEdit method?

Somewhere around here there's a thread discussing MultiAVCHD reauthoring specifically - as far as I know, MultiAVCHD shouldn't need to transcode at all to use the reauthoring function. See if you can figure out how to do it, else I'll hunt around for a disc with a blankable short title.

I haven't used BDEdit to do specifically this, but if you poke around in the menu and playlist tabs you should eventually find the playlist(s) and menu button(s) that link to that title and be able to disable them.

I'm short on disk space on my laptop at the moment so if you can't find the function I'll be able to replicate within a few days. In the interim, I'm sure both Dean (MAVCHD) and Pelican should be able to point you in the right direction.

I gave MultiAVCHD a try and it worked like a charm blanking commercials and annoying warnings. I shouldn't be scared by wrong estimated output size.
