I ripped "Let the right one in" in DVDFab, then selected the ifo file in Auto GK and set the subtitle parameters (there is only one option - "English wide") and clicked start.
The finished avi does not display the full subtitles, only the subtitles from the partial hearing version - which is like a running commentary in English with only a few English subtitles.
If I play one of the VOB files from my hardrive the full English subtitles appear! Does anyone know how to get the full subtitles?
Also I have a similar problem with "Inglorious Basterds" if I select the required subtitles nothing comes up in the finished avi, though there is another English subtitle option which describes every sound in the film eg. (door closes) when a door can be heard closing! and all the English dialogue has subtitles as well.
Very frustrating, I have played about with both DVD's for a while now trying to get them right but as of yet I have had no luck. I even tried making two AVI's of Inglorious Basterds one with subtitles, one without and cutting in the subtitled parts of the film into the other with VirtualDub but that created a whole new problem lol
