Hi,

I might have to re-use audio and video files from a commercial BD to a new one for a different publisher in another country. As the source masters tapes seem to be lost, our only material left is a BD from another territory.
The new project will be authored on DoStudio. I was thinking about using BD2DoStudio to demux the original BD, but I first need to rip and unprotect the original disc.
So, how can I properly rip the disc and grab the unmuxed files (video, audio and if possible subtitles) ? A solution that does not involve BD2DoStudio would be great also.
All advices are welcome !
Cheers.

Use a ripper like AnyDVD HD, along with eac3to to demux it.

Now that's an irony, isn't it? Official authorities have to use the pirate tools in order to get their work done! :p

That's why these protections are not used in studios. These are for distribution formats only.
