It's not a complete replacement for the Arcsoft codec and respective unlocker. However, its great for a limited, raw-decode mode only. You can't downmix speakers to 5.1, 2.0, etc (from a 7.1 source).. set in Win.ini, or any of the other sound processing effects (if you have the dlls from the arcsoft codec folder...such as equalizer, gold boost, headphones, etc if you know how to configure them.

I've been using the method mentioned in this threas to save the tmt3 audio decoder settings without even installing tmt3: and saving its respective settings for 5.1 sound.
However, im setting up a new HTPC which I will need to purchase and install the full TMT5 player. If Im using the full regsistered version of TMT5, will need to do any weird hacks in order to use TMT5's audio decoder and save its settings?
