Hey folks,
I'm very much interested in building out a workflow that will let me use Linux and other bits of free software to capture up to 1080p60 over a "3G" HD-SDI connection, and compress it in real-time using a tool like ffmpeg into H.264 or MPEG-2.
Has anyone had any experience doing something like this? I gather Linsys makes products that are compatible with ffmpeg, and I'm intrigued :)
Thanks in advance
