There are many, but only a few worthwhile ones. The better among them wrap DGIndex, Avisynth and Xvid. Look into MeGUI. Avoid: SUPER, MediaCoder, recommendations from any spam comments that pop up in this thread, any other FFMPEG ripoffs by fly-by-night "software developers".

I thought Handbrake doesn't output to AVI anymore? Just use AutoGK.
