Hi!

I’m using MPC-HC build 1782 and I’m encountering some fullscreen issues.

I tried to start the player from the command line and want to get into fullscreen right away. So my usual command line would be:

mpc-hc.exe videofile /fullscreen /play /close

Unfortunately this does not work as expected with the video renderers I’d like to use. With any EVR renderer the fullscreen is only covering parts of the screen, touching the left and upper edge of the screen. Switching back and forth with CTRL-Return resolves the issue. With Haali’s video renderer I’ll get into fullscreen but in most of the cases I’ll have the Windows 7 task bar on top. Again switching back and into fullscreen again with CTRL-Return solves the problem.
Unfortunately that’s not very convenient and a little annoying.

Using EVR Custom with Direct 3D works without those issues but it’s not an option, since my impression is, that my remote control commands are not working in this mode any longer.

Btw, instead of the /fullscreen switch I also tried the “Launch files in fullscreen” option within the Fullscreen options menu. But I had the same effect.

One last comment: I’m using the autochange mode for switching frequencies. That’s important for me and that’s a major reason while I’m trying mpc-hc as an external player within Mediabrowser in my Windows 7 64 bit media center.

Any help, comments or confirmation is appreciated.

Thanks

Nobody with any idea, same experience or hints?

BTW, is the automatical frame rate change also working for DVD copies (video_ts folders) on the hdd? I have not figured out how.

Nevermind fixed it.
