I hope this is in the right section.
I was thinking about building an HTPC mostly for watching 720p .mkv files. I also want to eventually get a ps3. Figured i could save some cash just buying the PS3..
I have a pretty cheap HDTV and while playing games at (xbox 360) 60hz there is basically no judder but when watching movies there is quite a bit. When i watch the same 23.976 fps rip on my computer's LCD at 60hz everything is smooth.
Will the PS3 be outputting 60hz when playing MKV2VOB files?
