I have ripped some mini-DVD from my digital camera to HD with Sony Picture Motion Browser. Probably the battery has gone too down and the time / data is completely wrong but fortunately once power returned the clock worked correctly, just a huge time offset...

The file names PMB creates are in the YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.mpg format.

How could I apply a predefined time offset to every file name, incrementing both date and time? Lets say I want to add +12341234125 seconds (random!), is there a program out there that could help me?

And, yes, I googled...

Total Commander has a function to rename multiple files based on some parameters you give ... For example if you have Maria.jpg and you say to rename it based on [N2-4][C].jpg, and you say for counter ([C]) to start from 1 and padded with zero up to 2 characters, then it's renamed as ari01.jpg.

Perhaps you can use this flexibility to change the yyyymmdd part of the name or something like that.
