Using the dumpHD program I can decrypt and dump the first 2 BD volumes in my trilogy set but not the third, Rise of the Lycans. Unfortunately I can't run the dumpVID program as I don't run windows either, (pure Linux in my house.)

The disk ID I get from dumpHD is

C4F2BA2B2F507AE0ABB3AEC811070A40EB0A5B17

This is a UK release of the film

Does anyone have the dumpHD keys for that? I'd be grateful. Thanks.

Thanks - but doesn't appear to be working. I replaced the disk id with the one I have and get error;

Processing: BDMV/STREAM/00000.m2ts
Searching CPS Unit Key... ERROR
Failed to determine CPS Unit Key!
0x0000000000 ERROR! Required CPS Unit Key / Sequence Key not present

If it helps others, I have the following KEYDB.cfg entries for Underworld 1 and 2 that do work for me (these were generated by dumpHD);

if you launch aacskey
you can see the version

you can edit MKB_RW with a hexedit

Please don't break the rules (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=121780).

The latest AACS keys tool has an up-to-date certificate. You do not need DumpVID, just run aacskeys --dump-vid

@Pynux - I'm running aacskey 0.4.0.c, the latest, with your new found key/cert. I get following output:

./aacskeys /cdrom
aacskeys 0.4.0 by arnezami, KenD00

Could not find a Processing Key or Device Key resulting in the Media Key.

aacskey -v reports mkbv version as 12.

@880 - Sorry, didn't realise it was a problem after seeing all the keys in the repository thread along with the sticky message "Post Blu-ray Volume Unique Keys here - post questions in the forum". Perhaps you can edit the original request and response to fit the rules. Hope you understand my confusion. :thanks:

OK, so If I have a disk that is not responding to the latest aacskey cert and I can't run dumpVID (as I am on Linux, not windows), Is there a way of investigating the disk for the key (other than makeMKV) ?

(Off topic - I have been trying for a while to get makeMKV running on my machine but get errors on compile. Tried to join the forum board for that to no avail - I don't receive the email confirm and the mods there don't respond to requests for help.)

Cheers

OK, for clarity, and if it helps others; kendoo posted elsewhere that aacskeys only retrieves up to mkbv version 10 at the present time. So in my case, not having access to a windoze box with a 'licensed' player means that I'll either have to wait until aacskeys gets a key it can use or go find a friend with the required OS and software to run bindVID on.

Thanks Pynux for your help on this.
