postings per page

Hi. Can the user set the amount of postings per page? If not, I suggest this as a feature (if the forum software allows this).

I looked for it next to "display modes", because it's also a display setting and many forums put the "postings per page" at the same location.
This is of course software dependent, but if it were possible, this would be my suggestion.
