View Full Version : DVD Decrypter not detecting virtual drive

There are times when I want to use DVD Decrypter on an ISO for a DVD (for demuxing). With a few different programs, I've tried creating a virtual DVD-ROM drive and loading the image into it, but DVD Decrypter never shows a second drive as being available. Other people I've seen in various places online (including here) seem to have no trouble with this task. Would there be anyone here who could offer some insight? It would be much appreciated.

Hi!

1) What software are you using to create the .ISO image file?

2) What software and procedures are you using to create the virtual drive and mount the .ISO image file onto it?

Thanks for the response! Answers to questions I probably should've stated to begin with:

1) The problem isn't limited to any program that created the ISO. At various points, I've tried doing it with images made in ImgBurn, DVD Decrypter itself, DVDFab Decrypter and ISOs that I've downloaded.

2) I've tried PowerISO and MagicISO. In each program, I tell it to start a virtual drive, then mount the image to that drive, then start DVD Decrypter and the drive I've created is never there.

It works fine with DVD Decrypter and Slysoft Virtual Clone Drive.

Why so hard work? Just use PGCdemux on your IFO/VOBs....
