I have been using eac3to for about a year now, with almost no problems. I get the occasional bluray movie that gives me odd audio that I haven't figured out how to fix, but that is not why I'm here. I've successfully converted over 100 BD movies into a WMV HD format that I play on my XBOX360. One day I started having this problem.......I ripped all of my lost season 5 bluray movies to a HDD, used TSMUXER to seperate out the video stream I want like normal......started up eac3to like normal and everything was fine for episode one.

I shut down the computer and went to bed. The next night I tried episode 2. I am now getting an error that says "this audio conversion is not supported". I tried to do episode 1 again, the one I did the previous night and am getting the same error message. The ONLY thing that happened when I shut down the computer was an installation of windows vista updates.

I don't know what information anyone needs to further locate the problem, log file from eac3to, etc etc etc. I know for a FACT that I have made successfully used eac3to in the past with the same exact audio streams.

I'm at a loss and looking through thousands of posts hasn't yet solved my problem.

Thank you in advance!

In all likelihood you have made a typo in your command line. eac3to prints other errors for specific problems.

Hi!

If the idea of "Inspector.Gadget" proves not to be the case:

1) Try uninstalling eac3to, then reboot, then reinstall eac3to

If that doesn't work,

2) Perform a "System Restore" back to the last time things were working properly.

eac3to isn't installable.

@soadtrails

Based on the observation by "Snowknight26", change my suggestion to:

Download another zip of eac3to

Remove the eac3to folder and unzip the newly download zip into it...

This error often presents when you accidentally enter in a correct commandline. I have seen this in cases where the command was telling eac3to to convert the video track to an AC3 file.

Double check your commandline with your sources tracks, and make sure that they match up.
