Building all new key frames(Avidemux)

I've been using Avidemux for a few months and now that I'm comfortable with it, I'm wanting to tackle something that's been eluding me.

Is there any way to build all new key frames? I'm wanting to do this and set a minimum(or fixed, either one) period between between each I-Frame.

Which also leads me to my second question. How do set a fixed or minimum time between I-Frames?
I don't see this option.

Re-encoding to any new format (well, any format in which all frames are not I-frames) will do this automatically. Use the min/max GOP setting in the video encoder config.
