ffdshow settings

After installing ripbot latest version , it requires FFDShow settings..
Where are few explanations about these kind of settings ??
there is a tutorial ???
I'm a newbie so....hope you understand me...;-)

There are too many settings to do and I am not a specialist ..
I do not know what to tick / check and what not
who can guide me?

You don't need to change any settings unless mentioned specifically in the ripbot tutorial.

On the 'Codecs' page in ffdshow you can select which formats ffdshow should decode. That is the only thing you should customize if needed.

I repeat : After installing new version of Ripbot this one requires to reinstall ffdshow and haali . I've installed Haali without problems ,and start with instaling ffdshow...everything's OK up to the end when ffdshow ask me to make 4 kind of settings regarding audio , video , and other two...that implies a lot of checkings , a lot of options to be selected , a.s.o.(
If I check all 4 options ,other windows appear with lots of options and I don't know what should I select..

Here is my problem : what kind of options should I select ???
because if I do not select nothing , the soft do not install(

Don't check those four boxes at the end. You should leave everything "as is".
