As far as I know bskyb don't broadcast subtitles. Only BBC HD does.

Doesn't matter. There are dozen HD channels that do broadcast. So, what software ?

If the video is MPEG2 and audio AC3 or MPA or wave etc etc then ProjectX will extract audio, video and subtitles if you put the correct page number for the subs in the presettings page.

PjX will extract the subtitles, even if the audio/video do not conform ... just untick audio and video ;)
