Hey guys!
I'm kinda new to this with capturing vhs tapes. I've gotten myself a Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP deluxe capture card to use for capturing (also got an EasyCap, but guessing the capture card is way better).
I had to by an adapter to use to connect my cables from the vhs player.
The card has 6 miniDin, so i bought this adapter (http://www.webbshoppen.se/PartDetail.aspx?q=p:344066). Now, to my problem.
When using the svideo i get really wierd colors, and can hardly see anything.
I've used the Cyberlink PowerDirctor, but it's the same result with other programs, like Dscaler. But if I use the composite connection, it get (what I guess is good picture) good picture.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
And perhaps i should ask, will it make any difference if i use the svideo part of the adapter, picture-quality-wise? I use from the vhs player a scart that becoms either a svideo connection or rca.
The OS is Windows XP 64bits.
Will provide samples, uploading them right now to youtube!
And here they are! The bad svideo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Viy6Avr2MWI)- the "good" composite (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeViv3ltDcI)
Would be really glad if someone might give me some clues, anything is appreciated!:thanks:
