Hi all,

I need advice on broadcasting an event live every sunday for about 4-5 hours.

I have a Sony HDR-HC3 HDV 1080i Handycam (Link (http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10551&langId=-1&productId=11033112)).

1. What kind of a PC do I need for
a. Broadcasting in SD

b. Broadcasting in HD

2. What service can I use

a. Broadcasting in SD

b. Broadcasting in HD

c. Broadcast in both, let the user decide.

3. Do I need any other equipment ?

have a look at this:

it's component analog, not sure if it does HD, but this should keep the actual CPU requirements pretty modest.

that's only for recording though, what about streaming on internet live ?
