Is there any easy way to look if a new build pre has been released?

On the DVD2SVCD homepage their is an email alert signup.
Also the latest build will be linked in the Q + A.
Also there is usually a sticky announcement.

All of these only apply to full releases and not Beta's.
Beta's are not meant for general release.
