Hi,

I got Magenta-Green anaglyph glasses and 'Journey To The Center Of The Earth' DVD-Rip : a mkv file encoded by x264, the size is 1,37 GB.
And when I try to see with glasses the 3D visual effect is not.

Does the compression kills the 3D, even if it's the x264 codec (which encodes very well) ?

There is a huge chance it will.

As far as I know, the compression shouldn't be a problem. The screen size that your'e watching it on could definitely be a factor. I just learned a few weeks ago that I have a conditon called (partial) stereo blindness, which basically means that anaglyph 3D doesn't work for me. Newer technologies work (although I probably don't see as much depth as other people).

Is it possible to watch the DVD on the same screen as you're watching the mkv, and tell us if that makes a difference in depth?
