Trying to Get Two Movies On One Disc

Re-authored two compliant files to a Blu Ray Structure,and only the first one played. Attempted to advance the disc after the credits were complete from the first one and the disc went back to the start of the first movie. Mind you the files chosen were authored for two separate Blu Ray projects which played back perfectly on their own. I'm wondering if there is something I should uncheck since there maybe a rule that tells the disc to go back to the beginning instead of advancing. Does anyone know what needs to be done?? BTW,used MultiAVCHD for authoring..:):cool:

I'm trying to do this at present, but with various holiday footage shot with my HD camcorder.
I am having no joy either, tried multiAVCHD, can't get it to work properly, but that's probably me as I am not very astute with this malarkey. Also tried TMPGenc Authoring Works, that was even worse!!!
Need to find something like ConvertXtoDVD, or rather ConvertXtoBluRay would be handy, or AVStoDVD[bluray]. Something simple with a menu generator for idiots like me to use :o

I can't see what your trouble could be?

You add 2 folders to multiAVCHD, create a menu and select the movie you want to play.

Thanks for your response .What I did was compile the original files (not the BDMV/Certificate files) and initially used TSMuxer which gave a successful completion. When i tried to play it and it didn't work,I tried the same two files in MultiAVCHD,and was unsuccessful there as well. Thanks for setting me straight. What may seem infantile and passe' to you, is a large undertaking for a person like me since I'm trying to get versed in all things Blu-Ray...Thanks again.

Update: Since you weren't very explicit in which files to add,I made a compilation of the .mts files within the 'stream' folder of each Blu Ray structure with the program which got a successful completion and am now burning them. Hopefully my guess of folder/file was right.

BTW ,the initial incorrect complation ,when played with VLC showed both movies at the same time one in each of two displays,why is that when they were placed one after the other???

Got a successful two movie disc with a real nice collage of still pictures from both movies as a start menu,and didn't choose or alter anything from the start. Only some slight stuttering (sound but not picture) from the first movie when played back. Processed fairly quick as well. Can stuttering be caused by an overused BD-RE? Or is there something that needs to be adjusted within the project?? Please advise...Thanks for your help.

Is it multiAVCHD that you used for a successful compilation?

Stuttering can be caused if you have HD audio, but using optical/coaxial AV connection to a non-HD compliant AV receiver. If video plays OK then it is not media-defect.

Yes,Deank,it is MultiAVCHD that I used. Would be pretty lame of me to use another program but report on it here...LOL You are an architect that many a company could use. Thanks for all your help and patience with my issue. Just one more question,actually two more questions

In fact I am using a non HD compliant receiver (Sony Home Theatre In A Box) with my Sony BDP -300 Blu-Ray player connected with a Toslink (optical) connection. Is there any way to correct this beside buying an HDMI connected receiver?? Thanks again

You can check if your Sony player can send only the SD part of the audio to your receiver, or you can check [x] Core only in audio-tab of title-properties in multiAVCHD to use only the non-hd part of the audio (just for a test). I don't have HD receiver and I'm too using toslink from my PS3 to a pioneer receiver and I get stuttering with DTSHD or TrueHD, too. :)

And I guess using HDMI will eliminate the stutter.
