DVD95 DVD Ripper/Decrypter

This freeware simple copies all files from a DVD to your HD, just like DVDFab HD Decrypter, and removes all DVD protections (CSS, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs and Sony ARccOS).

No BluRay or DVD-A though like DVDFab free one...neat find though


Hope this free one has no wacky hardware lock like his full version...

Yet again, I'm fairly certain that the BluRay capability of the freeware version of DVDFab ends after 30 days - and it becomes a DVD ripper only (with no compression capability either) at that time...

I tested it. But the results was not good.

(1)WALLIE: DVD95copy can't recognize its Fake VTS and rips over 60GN files.

(2)GET SMART: DVDShrink can't read DVD95copy's output by error.

I stopped to test here.

Doesn't run on Windows 7 (64-Bit) it seems. Crashes immediately:

As a user-mode application it shouldn't need to care about 32-Bit vs. 64-Bit. The 32-Bit subsystem (WOW64) is fully backward compatible to 32-Bit Windows.

Or does DVD95Copy install any kernel-mode drivers ???

i am running the dvd95copy pro and i see no problem for win7 x64.
maybe different engine

After some more investigation I found out that DVD95Copy obviously chokes on DEP. I almost forgot I had DEP enabled, because no application every complained :rolleyes:

And my first impression: In addition to fixing the DEP-related bug, the developers urgently need to create a modern GUI :D

BTW: DVD95Copy Ripper popped up an "update" notification. However on the update page that I was redirected to the Ripper wasn't available from the "product" list.
