Hi all,
I recently installed AutoGK on a fresh install on Win 7 and have been very impressed with the results, having manually encoded my rips with AviSynth and Virtualdub for many years on XP.
Now I want to do a couple of manual rips again, but don't want to upset whatever AutoGK is doing. If I change various settings in the XviD codec with VirtualDub (eg. turn on/off trellis quant, or change VHQ settings), will this affect AutoGK?
I guess what I'm asking is, does AutoGK set its XviD parameters each time it runs (in which case my fiddling about in Virtualdub shouldn't affect AutoGK), or are certain codec 'defaults' set only once on AutoGK install (in which case my fiddling about will affect AutoGK)?
Sorry for the long-winded post, and thanks in advance!
