Since using the last 3 betas i have noticed my encodes have begun to get very slow,even on fast setting and 1 pass. My cpu usage is at 100% also on the 264.exe is this common? I have allways done my backups on high quality crf encoding which usually takes about 9-10 hours but its gone to over 14-15 hours. I am only using the beta package from the first thread as allways. Any thoughts please!:confused:

I think it's probably just coincidence and the discs you've done most recently were (maybe) longer or more difficult to encode. It's also possible that your hard drive may be getting fragmented and/or full.
I can say the on my computer BD-RB and X264 is running about the same speed as always.

I allways defrag my drives so i know its not that,and they are know were near full. Like you said it just could be that they are a lot larger files than usuall,but to take a extra 4-5 hours to encode even on fastest with 1 pass seems far to slow. I have a quad core running aswell.

@MILLZY
Hi!
(Presuming you have either accurate records or a good memory) To make certain, re-process a BluRay disc that you did under an earlier version of BD-RB and compare the times required...

I have been having this problem for a few months now, set it, go to bed, get up and it's still encoding and I have an i7 quad system. This started several updates ago and I reported it but no one could help me. However, I luckily have AnyDVDHD so can use AnyDVD ripper to rip to the HD, then the processing is quick, smooth sailing 1/20th the time. I just can't do the one-click like I use to.
