Is "same as input" generally the most ideal option? I have AV-receiver hooked to my PC (SPDIF). I have 4 speakers hooked to my receiver (FL,FR,C,SW). Should i use "2/1+SW 3.1 surround" as an output option then?

If you use SPDIF output Ac3Filter can't make the downmix, the complete stream is sended to the receiver (the receiver maybe can do the downmix if is proper configurated).
Any PC downmix with Ac3Filter (or ffdshow, recommended for DTS) is only for analog output or digital PCM (limited to 2.0 by SPDIF)

Ok. so i should go with "same as input". Hmmm. is FFDShow better with dts?

The last Ac3Filter have a bug than distort DTS high volume (+ 3dB)

If you only conect the SPDIF cable to this receiver you must use 2.0 to downmix other audio (AAC/OGG/FALC ...) and set the pastrougth only for AC3/DTS.
Other question is if you connect also analog outputs.

Thanks, you are a wise man.

AAC filter has an option downmix to 2ch.
